Brooke & Michael's Fun Parade

Brooke & Michael Fox, two of the most fun, most generous & kindest people you will ever meet! I first met Brooke through volunteering for Get Hitched Give Hope. We became fast friends & I was honored when she asked for my help in planning her & Michael's wedding. Fun does not even begin to convey the planning process & overall theme of their great day! From the start she had a vision of what she wanted but was joyously flexible in adding new ideas. Enjoy!

Not one, but two grogeous dresses! Brooke actually shortened the second dress & wore it to Get Hitched Give Hope 2013.

Putting on the final touches.

Michael's mom is a jewelry & metals artist. She made these & the rings!

Pops of vibrant peacock blue, yellow, gold & red were incorporated.

Can you not see how much fun these people are having?!?

The ladies were left to their own devices in finding a dress they could not live without. Brooke gave them the color range & then they took care of the rest. They all decided to have the same shoes to bring the looks together.

The happy couple on Maine Street in Spirit Lake, ID.

Heather of Heathoriginal created this custom banner (& aisle decor) for the ceremony which was, wait for it...a parade!

A look at the ceremony down Maine Street.

Brooke & Michael were incredibly creative & resourceful! They made a lot of their own decor. This aisle runner included!

Guests gathered at a nearby park & collected noise makers while grabbing a refreshment. Some brought their own, displaying their special talents. There was a drumline, high school marching band, family members that were baton & flag twirlers & to top it off Michael rode in on a camel!

The sweetest little flower girl, Brooke's niece. I honestly, could have taken her home.

Once everyone had found their seat, Brooke arrived by this beauty!

After the ceremony guests "paraded" with their chair a block to Brooke's childhood home. Again, the crafty couple made all the signage, centerpiece containers & pie plates. Guests were also entertained by numerous yard games.

Instead of a guest book, guests wrote messages on the rocks left at each place setting. Which also conviently held down their napkins.

Craftyness must run in the family, because Brooke's dad turned the childhood placehouse into a bar & strung market lights across the yard as well as countless other little projects.

Brooke's mom could have easily had a successful career in event planning, interior design & in general making things beautiful. This antique scale is one of her personal pieces.

Brooke & Michael really wanted to use as many local vedors as possible & they found this gem of a caterer in Spokane. It was a delicious dinner.

A self serve pie bar fulfilled guests sweet tooth. It was soooo good.

Made with love by Carla Fox.

Love this Fox & Fox fire pit.
